Types of seeders
By types of crops sown:

• Universal. Suitable for sowing many of the most common crops: cereals, legumes, oilseeds, herbs.
• Special. Designed for better, more efficient and economical sowing of certain crops. Often such seeders are used for sowing corn and vegetables.

By the method of sowing:

• Ordinary, or grain. Provide sowing in rows with small aisles. The crops are solid. The width of the aisles for some models can be adjusted.
• Rowed (dotted, or precise seeding). Sow the seeds in rows one at a time, with equal intervals. They are used for sowing corn, sunflower and other row crops. They can significantly reduce the seeding rate.

According to the principle of action:

• Mechanical. Seeds fall into the furrows by “gravity".
